You are required to prepare a quantitative research paper. Data
collection is required for this assignment. The paper should be clear about
what data to be collected, how that data is analyzed and how a managerial
response is based on the results of the analysis.
The paper should conform to the following outline:
1. Introduction
2. Brief Literature Review & Research Question(s)
3. Research Model, Variables and measurement
4. Sampling & Data collection
5. Description of data and analysis techniques used
6. Results
7. Discussion
8. Managerial implications
9. Conclusion
The research paper should be type written, 1.5 line-spaced,
using 12-point size font times new roman.
Introduction
Present your logic for your paper including what has been
found in past research studies. Usually the introduction begins with a brief
paragraph that introduces the research question/problem and why it is important
to study. Then the question/problem is described in more detail using past
research and theory to make various points. In the final paragraphs, the
researcher restates the problem and briefly describes how he/she plans to
explore the problem (listing independent and dependent variables).
Literature review:
This should include at least 10 journal sources, which must
be dated between 2010 and 2020 and must be original empirical studies (primary
sources). This literature review must include a review of the theoretical
perspective/s that you will be basing your hypotheses on as well as a review of
relevant research. Make sure to explain each theory and study and clearly state
how each applies to your research question/s. Wikipedia and other
non-authoritative internet are NOT ACCEPTABLE; do not include such sources in
the paper.
Rationale of the study and hypotheses.
Discuss why you are conducting the research. Make sure to indicate
why you believe your proposed research project is important. What questions
will it address and attempt to answer? Why is this important? What are the
study hypotheses? Also, in this section, you have to present a graph or a
figure illustrating the hypothesis/hypotheses.
Research Methodology
Present a detailed plan of how to carry out your study.
Include a description of your participants, design of the study, and procedure.
·
Participants (your proposed participant (or subject) sample, Sample Size and
Demographics (age, gender, and other individual difference variables important
to your study).
·
Study design. Explain why you chose this particular design. What are the
benefits and the limitations of the design you chose?
·
Measures you will be using. If you are using a measure that has been validated
cite the author and describe the measure. Otherwise operationally define all of
your measures.
·
Procedure. Step by step description of where and how the research will be
conducted so it can be replicated.
·
Statistics. Describe the statistics you will use to test each of your
hypotheses. You may need different statistics for different hypotheses.
