For this essay, you should integrate either the Davis text, or the required readings, for the particular question you are addressing, to respond to the prompt. Secondarily, integrate other articles either on blackboard or some of the videos we have used in class.

Essay question:
Is fear or lack of knowledge the problem when we think of why attitudes/awkwardness towards people with disabilities are still the prevailing issue towards ending discrimination and negative attitudes against people with disabilities? If fear is the problem, what are some of the issues that people without disabilities are fearful of and why? What can societies do to alleviate these fears of disabilities? Do you think that those solutions would end the problem? If yes, why? If no, why not? What are some things that we need to do to value disability and people with disabilities.
