Final Position
The final assignment compiles all the topics learned in previous weeks. You must write a paper and prepare a slide deck presentation. You will explain the various influences on public budgeting, forecasting approaches, public policy and politics, and all elements involved in budget development.
STEP 2: Write a900 word paper on the final position.
Consider and discuss the following while forming your view of its financial position:
What are the fund balances in each reported fund?
How does the government examine the results for the general fund? Review the management discussion and analysis section.
What notes and material changes are in the CAFR?
Can you identify any significant policy changes?
STEP 2: Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines to include, at a minimum, the APA cover page, Introduction, level headers for each required assignment discussion point, Conclusion, and Reference page.
