This proposal should build upon your review of the literature and include the following elements:
Introduction (background/significance, statement of the problem, the purpose of the study, and research question)
Review of the Literature – synthesized summary of literature (2-3 paragraphs, citing at least 15 citations of quantitative research articles published in peer-reviewed journals)
Research Design and Theoretical Framework
Methods and Procedures (sample, measurement methods, data collection & analysis, limitations & discussion, and ethical considerations
Conclusion/Summary
References
Refer to the APA format, sample papers (content is important, sample papers are only guides), and Chapters 3 and 8 in Polit and Beck.
This paper should be 10-12 pages in length using APA style, not including the title page and References List; an Abstract is not necessary.
