The current beliefs on personality development is that the following three components – 1) Predisposition and early life experiences, 2) Developmental stage, and 3) Culture- affect how people develop stable personalities and how they age.
Choose one theory from the options below and discuss how the theory of your choice might view these three components (Question is modified from Freidman 2016, p321).

Freudian theory, Erickson’s theory, Adler’s theory, Horney’s theory
Format
A. Use 12-point time Times New Roman font, 1 inch margins, double-spaced. Your final paper must include a reference page but does not need a cover page or an abstract.
B. Your report should include the following headings. (1) Introduction: 0.5 page
Write 1 paragraph of instruction that describes your topic and overall preview of your paper (2) Main ideas of (the theory of your choice): 1 page
Provide a conscious overview of the main ideas of the theory of your choice. Discuss if you agree or disagree and why.
(3) Predisposition and early life experiences: 1 page
Discuss how your theory views the role/influence of predisposition and early life experiences in personality development. Discuss if you agree or disagree and why.
(4) Developmental stage: 1 page
Discuss how your theory views the role/influence of developmental stage in personality development. Discuss if you agree or disagree and why.
(5) Culture: 1~2 page
First, discuss how various aspects of culture might influence personality development of people .
Then, Discuss how your theory of choice views the role/influence of developmental stage in personality development. Finally, whether your theory of choice addressed influence of culture or not, discuss how you might want to further incorporate culture to strengthen your theory of choice. (This part alone should be at least 1 page)
(6) Reflection: 0.5 page
Reflect on the process of writing this paper. How was it like for you to do this project? How did this assignment deepen your awareness and understanding?
(7) Reference
In addition to making citations in text, you must create a reference page as well.
