LITERATURE REVIEW OF THE APPLICATION OF EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED COUPLES THERAPY FOR TREATING LACK OF EMOTIONAL INTIMACY.

Students will write an APA formatted paper (8-10 pages). The paper should demonstrate knowledge of the relational system, assessment of relational dynamics, the application of modalities and techniques applicable to the presenting problem, and recognition of influential contextual, systemic dynamics from the chosen theoretical lens. The paper should also include comparison with an Adlerian/ individual psychology approach to couples counseling, multicultural and ethical considerations. A minimum of six academic peer reviewed references are required.
