Read textbook pages 11 – 23 and read or watch the three-part Lecture, “Origins of Indigenous Peoples” posted in Module II. You can also use the immersive reader to have the lectures read to you by a machine voice, which is quite good. You can choose to use a male or female voice and the reading speed is adjustable.

The link above takes you to a website created by the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center. On this site begin scrolling down and read the text of the website until you come to the six short videos. Watch each video and listen for the different perspectives and emphases of each speaker. One speaker is a non-Native archaeologist, and the others are Hopi.
