This essay is a “Data Management” based essay gto desciobe the topic above. The goal of this essay is to discuss ways in which the data from the research will be managed from analysis to storage.
i have attached a file called ” research questions and methodologies” it is a preceding part of my essay research. this file should help as a guide towards writing this essay.
a. Data Analysis. Identify and briefly discuss the theories, concepts, and/or specific
interpretive framework approach/es (e.g., postmodernist, postcolonial, feminist, critical race theory) you will use to analyze your fieldwork data. When detailing your analysis
approach, you may also wish to consider the following: To what degree, and for what
reasons, will you use manual or software-driven analytical techniques? How might
reflexivity play a role in your data analysis and ethnographic representation?
b. Data Storage and Safety. Succinctly summarize the strategies you will employ to manage
and store your primary (raw) ethnographic data in all its forms (e.g., written, audio
recordings, photographs). When developing your data management approach, you may
wish to consider the following: Who will have access to this data, and under what
circumstances? How will you ensure your interlocutors’ privacy, anonymity and/or
confidentiality? What steps will you take to ensure your fieldwork data does not fall into
the wrong hands, or be used to create risk or produce harm? Do you have a plan to share
or destroy the data after a particular period? (If ‘yes’ to the last question, why do you feel
is data destruction necessary, and how will you accomplish this step?)
These bolded questions above are questions to consider and use as a guide to write this essay.
