Detailed Instructions:
Review the Internet for a company that makes or sells a product. Do not select Walmart for your company.
If in the Fortune 500 site, when you click on the company name, you are directed to specific information about that company. You can also see a link for the company website. Click on the company website link. Search for the “2022 annual report,” which will contain the financial statements and information from the company to the public (shareholders/investors/or customers) and the management discussion and analysis. Save the 2022 annual report as you will be using it later in the course. Note: There are different types of financial reports. You are looking for the “annual report” because it contains the final audited complete financial information. As this is early in the year, you may have to search for the 2021 annual report for your selected corporation. Please use the most recent report.
On the discussion board, tell us the following:
The Company I choose is CLOROX
What is the name of the company?
Why did you choose this company?
At least 2 interesting things (in detail) that you learned from reviewing the annual report.
I would expect at least 1 paragraph for each thing.
As this is an accounting class, please be sure to include financial data details in your discussion.
Be sure to copy and paste the company link into your discussion.
Part 2 : Response to discussion board posts.
Initial discussion thread responses should be at least 125 words
Your discussion thread responses do not need to adhere to specific formatting
requirements. However, please make sure to proofread carefully. Grammar and
spelling errors impact grading. Your responses should reflect critical thought and
should relate the course content to the real-world. In addition, if your responses
include information taken from a source other than the textbook, you must provide
the source of your content. However, most of your responses should be your
own original thoughts. I want to know what you think about the topics, not what a
researcher, the textbook author, or someone else thinks.
