Adolescent Concerns and Development

Assignment Overview
The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of current views on adolescents within a multicultural context. Some of these issues overlap with social concerns of young people within the society.

Adolescence is the age of change and the transition period between puberty (boyhood or girlhood) and adult stages of development (Serafini et al., 2013). Unfortunately, adolescents are confronted with many challenges and obstacles. Some adolescents adjust better than others.
