Obedience to authority is a necessary part of a functioning
society, however, at what point does obedience to an authority figure
become dangerous? Consider the line between reasonable and dangerous
obedience in relation to Milgram’s experiment and the Milgram-related
Hoax Case.

In
2004, a McDonald’s restaurant in Kentucky received a phone call from a person
claiming to be a police officer.
The
events that followed proved the atrocities that can occur through blind
obedience to an “authority.”
