Give an overview of your chosen community
development organisation, the regional development context in which it works,
the key challenges it faces and why. (300 words) 20%

An overview of your social enterprise initiative
including information on how it will feed into and relate to other community
development activities. ( 600 words) 25%

You need to include evidence that you reached a
decision about your enterprise e.g. is it because of your local knowledge, did
you have direct communication with the organization? You must also include
information on how your activity will be sustainable, i.e. feed into a long-term
fund raising programme or kick start a micro enterprise. (600 words 25%)
4.
Critically reflect on how effective you feel the
community development/social enterprise approach is? Does it represent a real
alternative to direct aid? What are the challenges and benefits of such an
approach? (30% 500 words)
