For this essay you will complete the first part of the experiment process, which is to determine a research question, complete background research, and develop a hypothesis. Once you determine a topic, you must research the science surrounding your selected topic in order to create a hypothesis.
Then, write 2 page essay discussing what your research question/topic is, why you want to investigate it, your background research, and your hypothesis.
You will need to have at least 2 sources that give scientific information. Do not use sites such as Wikipedia or Yahoo Answers as sources. Make sure to include sufficient scientific detail from your research to explain why you chose your hypothesis.
