1- What are the history, chemical composition and physical properties of the pollutant?

2- What are its sources and modes of transport?

3- How prevalent is it in the environment and where would human exposure occur? Are animals or other environmental systems also affected?

4- What are all the modes of exposure (e.g. Dermal, inhalation and/or ingestion)?

5- What are the different ways one may measure the pollutant in the environment and in people to estimate exposure and dose?

6- Are in vivo and /or in vitro methods or direct and/ or indirect methods used?

7- What populations are affected? Are some populations particularly at risk (with high exposures and/or high sensitivities)?

8- Using time/activity patterns, what is an estimate of either a daily or yearly exposure of a typical population, a specific subpopulation or an individual (show the calculations and where you got the data on a separate piece of paper)?

9- What are an estimated internal dose and an estimated biologically effective dose of the above exposure of the individual or population (show the calculations and where you got the data on a separate piece of paper)?
