Thoughtfully address at least ONE of the of the following prompts.
Discuss the nature of storytelling in The Arabian Nights. For example, what is a ‘frame story’? How does the frame function in this book? How does its presence contextualize the stories we read?
Analyze one of the characters from these tales- Scheherazade, Sindbad, or Aladdin. What are their admirable qualities, and what are some possible character flaws? Do you see any comparisons between these characters and any modern characters in books, film, or TV shows today?
Observe proper MLA documentation whenever necessary. MLA style should be observed if quoting/paraphrasing information, ideas, or opinions from approved primary or secondary sources. Outside sources beyond the literature, if used, should be used sparingly and follow MLA documentation guidelines.
