A complete Research paper over a specific topic.
A discussion of historical viewpoints (historiography) for each source used.
Point out differences in opinions/thesis on the topic.
A minimum of 5 academic/scholarly sources.
Include brief biographies of authors in terms of their historical background.
Provide a brief discussion of how the sources fit in historiography.
At least one primary source.
Length of paper must be 4,000-6,000 word count (8-12 pages) double spaced
Citations must be in Chicago with Footnotes & a Bibliography. Purdue OWL: Chicago
Font must be Times New Roman font size 12.
Must have a cover page. (No that does not count as part of the page length.)
The page count must be of content and therefore title page, bibliography, and blank pages do not count as part of the required page numbers. A failure to do this will result in a 5% penalty.
Complete Source. Remember that Three of the five sources must meet the following guidelines: 1 movie/documentary, 1 scholarly book and 1 primary source. This way I can check your sources to see if they are legitimate.
