Derivita

In Derivita, every question has a “Check Answer” button at the bottom. Click this button when you’re ready to submit your answers.

Most assignments give you three tries on each question. If you use up all your attempts, the solution will appear at the bottom. If there are alternate versions of the question, “Check Answer” will change to “Try Similar Question”, and when you click it, you’ll be able to try another version. No matter how many tries it takes you, you’ll still get full credit for the right answer.

Your grade is based on the highest score that you’ve ever gotten on each question, so you can practice a question at any time without lowering your grade.

You can complete the questions in any order. When you’re ready to move on, navigate to another question with the “Back” and “Next” buttons, or by choosing one from the list of questions.

Enter the word text{Study}Study in the box below, then click “Check Answer”. The preview window next to the input box will show you how your answer is being understood by the computer. Use it to make sure that your answer looks the way that you expect.

For example, a question may ask you to enter text{None}None if no solution exists. If you accidentally entered text{Nine}Nine, the preview window would show this: N cdot i cdot n cdot eN⋅i ⋅n⋅e.

Enter the word text{None}None below. Notice that the preview window changes as you type, and it shows up correctly once your input is recognized.Derivita can accept many types of answers, including expressions, equations, lists, and more.
