It is important for social workers to honestly address their own personal bias to maintain and encourage healthy therapeutic relationships focused on healing in comparison to judgement or condemnation. Due to social workers being in unique positions of power and influence, I heavily encourage the knowledge of, and reliance on the professions Principles and Code of Ethics.
