As the president of XYZ College, you are dealing with several challenges facing higher education during this second decade of the 21st century. These issues include changing student demographics, a lack of state funding, and underprepared students. To address these concerns, you have recently been tasked by the Board of Trustees to increase the retention/graduation rates at the college as well as increase the endowment. Just as you started to devise a plan to address these issue, Hurricane Destruction hits your campus and causes severe damage to 30% of the College’s classroom space. Based on these three pressing issues, retention/graduation rates, the endowment, and hurricane damage to the campus, describe in detail three leadership theories you will employ aligning each one to a different issue. You must write a detailed description of each theory, including its strengths and weaknesses. In addition, explain why you chose each theory to use with that specific issue.
