Critical Thinking, Logic and Fallacies

For this assignment assume a student is tempted to cheat on an exam:
Syllogism – Create one original logical syllogism as to why they should not cheat.
You must have at least two premises that lead to the conclusion.
Your argument must flow
In bold print, identify if you have written a cogent, inductive, or sound, deductive argument.
It should look like this:
Premise – Students who cheat can get suspended
Premise – Jack cheated on his test
Conclusion – TH: Jack can get suspended
This is the Deductive format and sound
2. Fallacy -Chose a fallacy from your e-textbook.
Create one original illogical argument (fallacy) that could be used in a false attempt to manipulate another into believing cheating is okay.
Name and Define the fallacy you are using. If you use a subset of a fallacy define the subset.
Provide the example that fits that fallacy
Bold print the name of the fallacy.
It should look like this:
Fallacy and Definition – 2 Wrongs make a Right – Faulty reasoning believing that it is right to do something since someone else did the same.
Jack after cheating on the test stated, “Of course, it’s okay to cheat, Jill does it all the time”.
3. Reflection – In one, well-written paragraph, discuss how the knowledge of logic and fallacies can help you in your career and/or life.
