You will be working with the presentation you created in Part 1.

e. Click the Preview button (if you want to run the entire presentation, press F5)
a. If you run the presentation, when it is done, press ESC to get out.
At this point, if you run the presentation, you will have to click the mouse to move
between slides. We are going to add timing instead.
3. Add Timing
a. Starting with Slide 1, click the transition tab. In the timing group, uncheck On Mouse
Click for each slide and add a check on After: 00:00:00
b. On Slide 1, change the Advance Slide timing to 00:03:00 and click Apply to All – run
the presentation. Adjust the timing for each slide until it seems right to you.
Hint: your viewer should have enough time to comfortably read each slide, so they
may be slightly different. 00:03:00 is a starting point.
4. Managing Slides
a. Switch slides 3 and 4. (Font sizes will remain the same for the assigned slide –
ignore what the second criteria point in the rubric says – it is correct before this
switch occurs. I take this into account when grading.)
5. Notes & Sections
a. Add Notes to three of the slides – something you might want to say if you were
giving the presentation in person, or a note to yourself.
b. Add a section name of ‘Descriptions’ to slide 2
c. Add a section name of ‘Wrap-up’ to slide 5
