The Essay should give a defenition of biophilia in a broader sense at the beginning, easing into the essay questiona and introducing the sites that willl be compared and used as cas studies. The first one is a residential urban building by Perkins+Will Ribeirão Preto Residence in Brazil and the second is the McLaren Headquarter by Foster & Partners which is a large Commerical building , so comparing how biophilic design is communictaed through both designs and what the differences are in terms of scale and usage (Private/Commerical -> taking into consideration the improvement of productivity with a biophilic design, impact of water and light to the wellbeing.). There are also some TED talks that talk about scientific studies that show a decrease in heart rate and cortsol level in rooms designed with wood. Including these aspects and facts underline the importance of biophilic design and the deep rooted connection humans have with nature, since we have lived in it for thousands of years and co-evolved together but for the last couple hundred years we have been isolating us more and more form it. Architecture and Design became a monologue instead of a dialogue with nature and the surroundign area and context.
