In this module, we reviewed three research designs (observational, experimental, and quasi-experimental).

1. Choose and describe one of these.

2. Discuss when it is appropriate to use this design.

3. Describe one of the different types of research design within the chosen study design. (For example, if you chose observational then you would describe one of the five types of observational designs (cross-sectional, longitudinal, successive independent samples, case-control, or case-crossover) including its weaknesses and strengths.

4. Provide an example of a situation when it is most appropriate to use this design.
