Write a paper on a contemporary issue in multicultural
education. Those papers will be responses to articles found in newspapers no more than 2 weeks
old( add the artical which you referr ). The reflection will
clearly summarize the issues within the article, yet they will also critically analyze those issues in
relation to pertinent issues and trends in multicultural education. The reflection will include the
following:
▪ An introduction paragraph that includes an overview of the ideas addressed in the
readings. The parallel concepts and contrasting concepts.
▪ A bulleted list of the most salient concepts you read.
▪ A written reflection of the relevance of the concepts addressing some or all the questions
below:
o What do the concepts mean to you as a professional?
o What is the point of the concepts?
o What is the implication for students? Teachers? Administrators?
o So, what is the point of the texts?
o What questions do you have?
o What is missing from the reading?
o Will this impact the work you do? How?
Part 2: The reflection should include an explanation of one or multiple of the following considerations:
▪ New ideas
▪ Altered thoughts, frameworks, or ideologies
▪ Topic(s) you want to explore professionally
▪ An explanation of a lack of inspiration or motivation
