In your own words write an essay explaining the Renaissance. The opening paragraph should describe what the Renaissance is. The body of the essay should include at least four of these key words (Leonardo da Vinci, Mona Lisa, Last Supper, The Medici, Machiavelli, Brunelleschi, Birth of Venus, Lorenzo Ghiberti, Michelangelo, Sistine Chapel, Venus of Urbino). In one paragraph compare and contrast Donatello’s David and Michelangelo’s David. Make sure to underline all key words.The essay should begin with an introduction paragraph, followed by at least three paragraphs and end with a conclusion paragraph- totaling five paragraphs.
And remember, I do not award partial credit for incomplete work. If the essay is incomplete, you will receive a zero on the essay.
