For this essay, you will be responding to the “Disconnected Urbanism” essay that we read in class. Your class closure asked you if you agreed or disagreed with Goldberger’s claim about cell phones disconnecting us from our surroundings. This essay is an extension of that statement (class closure statement). You will write an essay in which you state your opinion regarding Goldberger’s opinion. The catch: you must respond using all three rhetorical appeals (ethos, logos, and pathos). You will also need to quote from Goldberger’s essay for your response, using correct in-text citations. You will also need to include a works cited page. If you would prefer to use the textbook so you can have page numbers (preferred), let me know, and I will help you with your MLA citation.
