Minor Essay / Review Guidelines
The purpose of this assignment is to help students develop the necessary skills in critically reviewing academic work that they read. It provides the foundation for writing the major essay.
Note that you are not allowed to review entire books or chapters from textbooks,
Please use essay marking rubric and examples of reviews before you write.
The minor essay is a review of an academic article (few articles to choose from has been
provided)
Plagiarism
Do not plagiarise, this assignment will be submitted to turn it in !!!
Make sure you use your own words when citing someone or a document, and then provide a reference. Never copy previous essays or other student essays or lift entire sentences from the internet (Turnitin will easily detect this).
Please provide the originality report at the end !
The minor essay is worth 20% and the final submission should be 500 words in length.
