Assignment #3: IA Critique
You are invited to critique a website/mobile application assigned by your client. This critique should include the following: 1) description of the organization (company), 2) goal(s) of the website/mobile application, 3) identification and description of intended users, 4) identification and description of problem areas of the website/mobile application, and 5) suggestions for improvement.
You need to choose to do your IA critique for one of these four information systems:

• University of Advancing Technology (https://www.uat.edu/)
• AllTrails Mobile APP (you need to download the app and explore it)
To conduct a comprehensive website/mobile application critique, you need to include at least evaluating the site’s organizational scheme and structure, labeling, navigation, search systems, metadata and indexing, and consistency and adherence to standards. For each IA component, please consider the good IA guidance and checklist questions mentioned in the textbook and lecture notes.
In addition, your critique should include your suggestions for improvement based on the analyses of problem areas of the website. You can include a screenshot(s) of the current page(s) and screenshot(s) of your new design based on your suggestions for improvement. Please consider the intended user audience for the site, the contents (product and/or service) of the site, and the site’s organizational scheme and structure, labeling, navigation, and search systems carefully when you propose your new design of the website. You may provide only two or three web pages of your new design examples. You can use graphic drawing tools to draw the page layout of your proposed new design.
Please write a report about 1,200-1,400 words (without images) 12-pt Times font with a 1-inch margin. The report should be submitted to Canvas Assignment Dropbox for Assignment #3. All supplementary materials (such as pictures) should be embedded in the Word file so that the report is one (1) file that can be opened and printed. Name your file as “IA_Critique_YourLastName” (e.g., IA_Critique_Chi) before you submit it.
