For the final assignment, you are to write a paper of four-five pages (double-spaced; 1000 to 1250 words) stemming from a project you develop on a topic relating to the food/folklore connection as developed in this class. (CLASS READINGS WILL BE PROVIDED TO STEM FROM FOR THE PAPER).
The project should be based on research, fieldwork (observation and interviews), and/or personal experience; the paper should document how you went about collecting information about your topic. If research is involved, your sources should be properly listed in a bibliography additional to the four-five pages; if fieldwork is involved, you should describe your “informants” and your relationship to them and to the setting(s) in which you conducted the fieldwork; if personal experience is involved, please contextualize it for your reader.
