The purpose of this assignment is to give you the opportunity to write a scholarly research paper for publication. The course is focused around how to write a paper for a specific peer-reviewed journal. As well as revise a paper based on your colleague’s peer-review. Demonstrates a quality of content: Giving support for your views; Clarifying assumptions;
Avoiding fallacies and rhetoric; Identifying contradictions; Connecting ideas and views
Demonstrates clarity of writing: The work is well-organized for a journal; introduction informs the audience what the paper will do, it’s significance and sums up what you did in the conclusion; The tone is appropriate for the journal selected; Well-organized thoughts; Avoids clichés, jargon and rhetoric while performing critical analysis
Demonstrates a clear contribution to the academic community;
Demonstrates Technical aspects: Conforms to journal guidelines; citation style (APA, MLA,etc.) is accurate; where possible a journal template is used criteria: The paper shows the following:
