You can draw on any of the work we have done to help support and flesh out your argument. Context from Intimate Matters, secondary source essays, and primary source documents will all be useful in different ways. Make sure you provide citations for any statements or ideas that are not your own; a bibliography or footnote is not required, but you should provide a basic reference (i.e., “as Ellen Willis notes,” etc…). Just as with the midterm, Prompts 1, 2, and/or 4 MUST reference at least 4 primary source documents with a parenthetical citation (author’s last name, if applicable, or a short title of the document, and the doc number from the syllabus).
This might look like: (Wong Ah So, Doc 2) or (Comstock, Doc 3) or (MPP Code, Doc 6).
Your goal is not to describe the documents, but to use it as evidence to prove your argument. The focus, clarity, depth and organization of your argument are most important here – demonstrate that you have read and considered the big questions of the course.
Include an intro paragraph with a clear thesis statement answering the prompt. Also make sure to include which prompt you are answering in the heading or title.
MUST ONLY INCLUDE PRIMARY SOURCES ATTACHED. DO NOT ACCEPT IF YOU WILL NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. PLEASE ASK IF CONFUSED
