Recall that you are the lead technical communicator for Pronto Engineering, a company with 5
plastic 3D printers at a facility that makes prototypes for engineering clients, mostly created
through 3D printing processes. The 3D printers at your facility meet most of the capabilities your clients require.
Metal 3D printing technology could expand your company’s business operations and provide your company with a competitive edge.
Draft a 525- to 700-word proposal planning document in Microsoft Word, including the following:
Summarize your research from Week 4.
Suggest how to best deliver the proposal to your audience (Pronto Engineering owner).
Develop a checklist detailing the strategies for delivering the proposal to your audience.
Reference the checklists in Topic 13 as examples.
Defend your reasoning about which media channels and software applications would work best, and why they would be the most effective for the type of report or proposal you are creating.
Explain the processes you followed for making your decisions.
Cite at least 2 sources beyond your textbook to support your assignment.
