Today in class we discussed the terms “reaction” and “response.” These terms are used differently in our lives. We also discussed fears we have and how we react and respond to them. We watched the movie, “American Blackout.” (The movie is available on Disney + and other streaming services. If you missed class today, it is your responsiblity to find the movie and to watch it on your own time.)
Essay #3 is a reaction/response paper to the movie “American Blackout.” Remember to think about the ideas of responding as opposed to reacting. Use the movie as evidence in your essay but DO NOT give a recount of what happened. We know what happened. We watched the movie. Discuss your reaction and response. This essay should be typed using the format found on the syllabus. It should be AT LEAST 750 words.
