1. Your paper should be 1750 to 2250 words long, typed, in 12 point Times New Roman
or Cambria font. Your paper should be double-spaced.
2. Your paper should cite at least five (5) secondary sources and at least two (2)
primary sources. These sources should be cited in the body of the paper and should be
included in a bibliography at the end of the paper.
3. You may use any of the following styles: Chicago, MLA, APA.
4. The topic must have something to do with the History of Christianity before 1650 CE.
5. Your paper should have a specific thesis that makes an argument. The thesis should
examine some historical issue about which there is some debate.
6. The argument should not be about what is theologically true or which doctrine is more correct.
