Topic: Kyrie Irving: Nets Suspension and Nike Deal
Back in 2022, Kyrie Irving reposted a cinematic film via Twitter. There was no caption attached, he posted the link to “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America,”. The film includes conspiracy theories and denial of the Holocaust. In a post-game interview Kyrie stood on what he posted and didn’t feel the need to address an apology. The Nets later suspended Irving for % games, no pay, for not issuing an apology stating he has no belief in Antisemitism. Shortly after, Nike dropped their partnership, since 2014, with Kyrie because of “hate speech” and “antisemitism”.
