Introductions – Super Hero
This is going to be a SUPER semester so let’s start off with getting to know a little bit more about each other superhero style! The purpose of this activity is to:
introduce yourself and get to know your classmates and
use and familiarize yourself with the Canvas Discussion features.
Assignment 1. Visit the SuperHero, heroized.com, and create your own personal superhero (please keep the costuming choices appropriate!)
2. Use a screenshot, copy, or the snippet tool to capture your hero.
3. Reply to this post with the following (instructions for replying in Canvas DiscussionsLinks to an external site.):
Red, Create your own SUPERHERO w/characters.
4. Your name, occupation, and program/major you are studying (or interested in).
5. Describe why you chose the features for your superhero. Explain what it reflects about you?
6. Explain what superpower you most would like and why.
7. If you want, upload a picture of yourself as well, share your favorite links and other relevant information to help us get to know you.
Note: Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
8. InsertLinks to an external site. your hero into your discussion post.
9. After completing your own post, interact with your classmates and help us all get to know one another.
10. For full points, thoughtfully respond to at least two other classmates’ posts. (For this assignment only!)
