In this forum, we will be discussing the FRONTLINE documentary “The Wounded Platoon” about the experiences of soldiers in the Third Platoon, who experienced traumas on the battlefield, and many of whom had multiple re-deployments to combat zones in Iraq. We will highlight points from the documentary as well as discuss them in relation to readings from this week, including the Vanity Fair article and the RAND Invisible Wounds Study.
