This assignment calls for you to prepare a 2024 strategic plan for the organization selected for your SWOT presentation and
this paper. (attached)
This presentation should describe the basic tasks, in sequence, completed in building and executing your plan.
This paper is about the implementation of the plan after it has been approved.
The paper should present a plan with 12 strategic objectives based upon your SWOT analysis.
Each objective should include a SMART goal, how it will be measured, and the functional area and manager responsible for
the measurement and accomplishment of the goal. This paper does not require detailed explanations of how to complete the various tasks required.
The paper should also describe how the actual results compared to plan objectives will be communicated.
Notes:
This paper should include goals with an acceptable level of performance described, as well as an ultimate goal. A balanced
scorecard may or may not be a good tool based on your selected goals, and must be described in detail, if this is
recommended.
Your organization’s (DANA FARBER CANCER INSTITUTE) ultimate success or failure is demonstrated by the results of these
measurements. In other words, if all 12 objectives / goals are accomplished, your organization would consider the year and
plan a success. If 9 goals are accomplished, for example, the organization may, or may not, consider the year a success.
Which goals, how significant those not acheived, financial repercussions, and so on are all factors.
This paper does not require detailed explanations of how to complete the various tasks required. However, all necesssary tasks should be identified and the paper should explain who will complete each task, who is ultimately accountable, and what the objective of each task is.
