This essay involves an analysis of any aspect of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots.
Essays can focus on, for example, the challenges faced by Korean Americans (including those that appeared in the documentary Sa-I-Gu), anything relating to the situation regarding Rodney King, the trial of the police officers who were subsequently found not guilty in King’s beating, the killing of Latasha Harlins by Soon Ja Du, or any other aspect. (I had also mentioned that the situation involving Reginald Denny is another available option.)
