In groups of five, you will research an ethical dilemma/situation/current event that strikes a chord with your team member collective moral codes. You will as a group create a presentation that explains the situation and how it violated the group agreed moral code, the unethical actions of the individual or group involved, context, whom was impacted by the unethical situation and outcomes (for the individual, everyone else involved, and the public if relevant – the stakeholders).
You will also compare and contrast the theories of dishonesty the situation relates to, how the type of dishonesty could have been avoided (from Dan Ariely’s tactics and supplemental reading), and identify how your moral codes as a team would keep you from getting into the same situation.
