Describe your initial research approach by explaining what types of sources you read. Where did you find your sources?
Research Problem: In order to develop a substantial thesis later, you’ll need to make sure your research question is sufficiently debatable within the scholarly research. Describe why the research question is relevant within the academic context by describing what you’ve learned through the preliminary research thus far. As you write your post, seek to answer these questions:
What seems to be the main issue that scholars discuss surrounding your problem?
Is your problem relevant within Church History? Is it an ongoing problem or a new one?
Have you read any main views that seem to conflict with one another as it relates to your question? If so, what are they?
