Pierce College Mission Statement. Please
share about how one of these words has
affected your academic and/or personal
journey as a student at LA Pierce College.
Please note that your audience is your fellow
LA Pierce College graduates.

Student Bio sample example:

Betzy Brahma is a graduating Child
Development/Early Childhood Education major and
Pierce College student leader. In two years she has
worked two to three jobs per semester, maintained
Dean’s List honors while fighting through adversity.
She credits her participation in the spring 2019 Town
Hall for inspiring her to become an actively engaged
student and community member. As the current Child
Development Club President, Peer2Peer Mentor,
Alpha Gamma Sigma Social Committee Chair,
Associated Student Organization member and The
Foundation for Pierce College Board Member, she
works to bridge the gap between students,
opportunities and resources by assisting with the
implementation of programs, workshops and student
success initiatives. Betzy is the Pierce College
student representative for the Southern California
Valley Association for the Education of Young
Children, where she advocates improving the quality
of developmental and educational services for
children. Her future goals are to become an early
childhood educator and continue to utilize the skills
she has obtained as an LA Pierce College student to
make a difference in the community.
