Your summary of the article should explain the topic of the article, what it examines or discusses and/or analyzes regarding the topic, and what conclusions or overall points about the topic it makes. Your summary should be in sentence-and-paragraph form, and it should be entirely or nearly entirely in your own words. In other words, you may quote the article a bit in your summary, but quotations should be used sparingly if you use them. The total for all quotations put together should not exceed four lines of text. Also, all quotations must be cited in APA style, and whether you quote your article or not, you must provide a References page at the end of your summary with your article referenced in APA style. Your reference page does not count toward the length of your assignment.
The summary must be at least 1 page in length and no more than 1 ½ pages in length, double-spaced, with 10-12 point font and margins of no more than 1 inch on each side.
