Term Project: Write an 8-10-page analytical paper using the course content
(Octavia E. Butler’s Kindred and class readings) to deconstruct a contemporary
issue. Use sociological theories and concepts provided in class. Start your paper
with a brief overview of the issue and its importance. Students should engage in
the themes and ideas presented in class in a thoughtful, insightful, and in-depth
manner.
Format: 8-10 pages, 1-inch margins on all side, 12-point Times New Roman font,
left justified and page number on lower right-hand side. Include title page (title of
the paper, your name, ID, name, number/section of the course, date, and
instructor’s name). Check for grammar, punctuation, sentence structure,
indented paragraphs. Citations should follow APA or MLA format.
