Research, synthesize and effectively present the environmental disaster I assigned at the beginning of the semester. Create a slideshow presentation that demonstrates your understanding into the ways the environmental disaster affected the planet and humans, including health and economic impacts. Your presentation should include at least 12 slides and information from your research that has been put into your own words.
Your presentation should explore what led up to the disaster, the ultimate cause, what happened during the event, and what was the aftermath. Your research material may be drawn from various sources, such as: media coverage (local, national, or global), personal investigation and research, historical records (books, journals, films/videos, newspaper articles), and reliable internet sources. Items like blogs and Wikipedia are not acceptable sources. If you are unsure if the source is reliable, contact me for clarification. I am happy to help you locate reliable resources.
The presentation should provide an overview and understanding of the assigned topic, as well as provide creative and visually appealing slides. At the conclusion of the presentation you will be required to include a well thought out and supported reflection.

Assignment Requirements:
• Title slide: What is your assigned environmental disaster? Be sure to list yourself as the researcher.
•Definition: Define the disaster and use an impact photo
•Location: Locate where on a world map this disaster occurred?
•What led up to the event: Explain what problems or decisions led up to the disaster.
•The event- What happened the day of the event? What went wrong?
•Planet Earth Impact: Describe the impacts this disaster had on the natural systems, for example, did it re-shape landscapes or drainage patterns?
Think- landscape, climate, drainage, vegetation, wildlife changes to the area, etc.. Did it permanently contaminate the Earth?
•Human Impact: Describe the impacts this disaster has on human systems. Think about drinking water/air/ soil contamination, health difficulties, lifestyle changes, and economic changes, etc.
•Clean up: Describe what is being done to clean up the disaster?
•Current Status: What is the current status after the event? Is the area still recovering? Are people still sick? Has wildlife/natural systems (water, air, soil) recovered?
•Avoiding the Disaster: What could have been done to avoid the disaster?
•Reflection slide: Provide your thoughts on the disaster and forecast any future concerns or research.
•Reference Slide: List references used in your presentation using APA format
