Poverty and Economic Inequality

This is a research paper, meaning you will need to find multiple sources pertaining to your discussion in the paper, and cite them both within the paper and in the References page.

Based on your research, you will make a thesis (a main claim or argument) in your introductory paragraph, and then support your thesis using evidence (from outside sources) and logic in the body of the paper. Your conclusion will wrap up your main points expressed in the body of the essay and show the reader why your thesis is clearly supported and correct. You are encouraged to choose a novel or interesting thesis, as this tends to create a more engaging paper.

Three page minimum, no maximum (3-5 pages recommended)
Double spaced
Font: Times New Roman
Size: 12 font

Minimum of five (5) high-quality sources (see #3 in “Resources” above)
You must reference the sources that you use within the body of the paper in APA format. Generally, include the author(s) and year of publication at the end of the sentence.
Example: A downward sloping demand curve reflects the Law of Demand (Taylor & Greenblatt, 2020). A “References” Page (in APA format). The writing tutors can help with citing correctly, or use these web resources:
An introductory paragraph, with a thesis and the general arguments that you will be making in the body of the paper (in the body of the paper, you will delve into these arguments in more details and support them with evidence).
A concluding paragraph, which wraps up the arguments (discussed in the body) into an overall main point that supports your thesis.
Must include a cover page in APA format (including a Running head)
Must include an abstract (after the cover page)
