This is a writing about the impact of the cultural background in the Caribbean and how it affects the views on marriage and family, and spouse/life partner choice.
Over the years, I have seen how certain cultures or marriages are diminished, especially in the Caribbean. For example, people don’t express their loyalty to their partners, and it’s now a situation where individuals are making it a norm to have several partners. So I will dig into my Caribbean background to speak about the cultural norms of Marriage in the Caribbean and how it has affected my views on Marriage in the new millennium world. As well as talking about women’s role in Marriage and in the family.
