1. Dr. Nicole Allen talks about the the difference between rhetorical texts as fragments vs. rhetorical texts as wholes. What are some advantages/disadvantages of both conceptualizations of rhetorical texts?

2. Dr. Nicole Allen briefly discusses her rhetorical analyses of the Pussy Riot protests in Russia in the 2010’s. After skimming the article, apply Bitzer’s rhetorical situation to her texts. (Article Attached to order).
