Think about Mediation- Practice Negotion and dispute resolution knowledge or skills you utilized at your internship.
We practice the “mediator 2-step”: a reflection followed up with an open-ended question.
Reminders: We covered reflections in class #5. Please focus your practice this week on mirroring (using the speaker’s language) and affect labeling (refer to the Feelings Wheel, i.e. emotions, in Handouts).
We covered open-ended questions in class #6. Remember that these are questions that can’t be answered with a “yes” or “no.”
Make a 5 minute movie/video presentation discussing how you utilized any aspect of dispute resolution knowledge or skills at your internship. You may use any platform of your choice to create the video presentation. Make your vidoes lively, unique and fun.
