To complete this assignment, you will create an annotated bibliography that aligns with the research topic/question presented to you. The topic/question can be viewed in Canvas.
Criteria for success To successfully complete this assignment, you will: Select a research topic from the ones provided on Canvas Find a minimum of 4 sources that align with the research topic/question provided Only 2 of these sources can be from websites. The remaining 2 should be from scholarly articles. You are welcome to have all 4 be from scholarly articles, but the limit is 2 for websites only These should be the best sources you identified—think if you were presenting your information to the CEO of a healthcare system related to the specific topic List all citations in APA format (remember the hanging indention) Annotate each citation which includes: Summarizing the content of the source—be descriptive and specific Evaluate the accuracy and validity of the source Describe the usefulness of the source as it relates to the topic/issue being addressed Annotations should not include first or second person narrative The assignment should be typed in Calibri, Arial, or Times New Roman 11pt. Or 12pt. Font When uploading your assignment to Canvas, only submit the following file types: Word document (.doc) PDF (.pdf) Checklist Selected research topic is listed at the top of the document before the annotations begin Annotated bibliography includes a total of at least 4 sources A maximum of 2 sources are from websites Citations are in APA format The assignment follows the annotated bibliography format—the citation is listed first then the annotation for that citation is underneath it Each annotation includes: A summary of the content of the source An evaluation of the accuracy and validity of the source A description of the usefulness of this source in the context of the topic/issue being addressed
